Rendered boundary walls and retaining walls are one of the fastest ways to lift street appeal — especially when the finish matches your home. We regularly render fences and retaining structures across The Hills District and Greater Sydney.
When it works well
Masonry substrates — brick, block or concrete — are ideal. Movement joints and capping details must be considered on retaining walls because they carry soil load and can shift slightly over time. Acrylic render is often specified here for flexibility and colour.
Matching colour and texture to the house creates a cohesive look. We colour-match to existing façades on request.
When to be cautious
Render is not a fix for structural failure. Cracked, leaning or leaking retaining walls may need engineering or drainage work first. We will tell you honestly if prep or rebuild is required before render.
