A rendered façade is a long-term investment. The cheapest quote is rarely the best value if preparation is skipped or the wrong system is specified. If you are comparing renderers in Castle Hill, Kellyville, Rouse Hill or across Sydney, use this checklist.
Proof and credentials
Confirm they are licensed and insured for the work. Ask for recent projects near your suburb — not stock photos. Reviews on Google and real project pages with locations matter.

Quote visit and samples
A proper renderer should inspect your walls in person, discuss substrate issues openly and show finish samples — colour, texture and sheen. Written quotes should state scope: prep, repairs, coats, edges, clean-up and warranty.
Avoid vague one-line estimates with no visit. Rendering fails from poor prep more often than from the top coat alone.
Warranty and communication
