How Long Does House Rendering Take in Sydney?
Typical timelines for single-storey homes, what affects duration, and how weather and prep change the schedule.

Most homeowners want a clear answer before they book trades: how long will my house be in progress? For a typical single-storey home in The Hills District or Greater Sydney, full exterior rendering often takes around five to ten working days — but scope and conditions move that number.
What affects the timeline
Surface area is obvious — a full wrap-around exterior takes longer than a front façade or feature wall. Preparation is often the biggest variable: repairs to brick, removal of loose material, priming and masking all add time upfront but save problems later.
Coat count and product system matter too. Some finishes need multiple passes with drying time between. Weather is critical in Sydney — rain and high humidity can delay application and curing, so we plan around the forecast and keep you updated.
What to expect on site
We protect paths, gardens and fixtures, complete prep, apply render in stages, then inspect and hand over. You will get a clearer day-by-day expectation at quote stage once we have measured and assessed the substrate.
Rushing render to hit an arbitrary date usually costs more later. A proper schedule balances speed with a finish that still looks flawless in five years — backed by our 15-year warranty.
